Getting started

Welcome to Electric Sheep. Here's the quickest path from sign-up to a working agent.

1. Sign in

Go to app.hireelectricsheep.com and sign in. You can use Google or Microsoft, and if your company has its own single sign-on, you can use that too.

2. Create your organization

Your organization is your workspace — it holds your team, your agents, your skills, and your settings, all isolated from everyone else on the platform. Every new organization comes with two agents:

  • Janet — a general-purpose helper available to your whole team.
  • Michael — an admin-only agent who manages the organization for owners and admins.

If you sign in and don't belong to an organization yet — for example, you weren't invited to one — you'll see a "Create your workspace" option. It spins up a personal organization on the free plan with you as owner, seeded with Janet and Michael, so you can start immediately. You can invite teammates into it later, or skip it and ask an existing owner or admin to invite you instead.

Already in an organization and want another one — say, for a side project? Open the organization switcher at the top of the page and choose New workspace. Pick a name and a URL name, confirm, and sign in again when asked (creating an organization always asks for a fresh sign-in). The new organization starts on the free plan with you as owner; you can change its plan from Billing afterwards. You can own a limited number of organizations this way, and you need a verified email address. If you need more, contact us.

3. Say hello to Janet

Pick Janet from the left rail and start a conversation. She's a full working example of everything an agent can do here, so she's the best place to learn — ask her to help you set up your first custom agent.
